Dang. Why isn’t Eddie writing for this blog? That’s the best thing I’ve read in at least two weeks.
Well, it’s not like I haven’t offered him the opportunity. I’d be happy to give him author priviledges, but I think he prefers to have me pass on the information.
I loved what he wrote so much that I just copied and pasted it into the blog. The “superior posteriors” bit cracked me up.
Very sly–very droll. I liked that, of course, and also the part about the seats AND the actors appreciating the audience.
(And this was not at all a slight toward your writing, btw. I’ve been reading a LOT of student papers lately, as well as some really boring books.)
No offense taken. Coming from a technical writing background, I used to write those really boring books! So I’m having to learn to write so that I don’t put people to sleep. 😉
Nice. I’m actually teaching business writing right now, and technical writing is part of it, but I’m far from expert at it myself. Which is so off topic.
