Nestor Carbonell Guest Stars This Week in “Day Break”

Have any of you been watching the new ABC series Day Break?  If you haven’t, I recommend that you sit down this Wednesday and give it a try.  Not only because Shannon Kenny’s husband, Nestor Carbonell, has a guest role on this week’s episode, but also because, in my opinion (for what that’s worth), it’s looking to be a really good show.  Only two episodes have aired and I’m already sucked in.

The show is a take on Groundhog Day where a police detective, played by Taye Diggs, is forced to live what is possibly the worst day of his life over and over again.  Each day he makes different choices resulting in different consequences.  And each day he uncovers new clues to help him try to fix a day that has gone horribly wrong.

Day Break airs Wednesdays at 9/8c on ABC.  This week’s episode is entitled “What If He Can Change the Day.”

If the premise interests you and you want to watch it from the beginning, you can watch the first two episodes online in streaming video at http://dynamic.abc.go.com/streaming/landing.

  1. Alright, I just watched the first 2 shows online. And, I have to agree it appears to be a good show. I like the way that it changes and that he learns something new everyday. I am just weary about getting to involved in a show. The last time that happened we lost our beloved I-Man. But, I am sure that I will end up watching it anyway.
Thanks for telling me about it.

  2. I understand how you feel. I don’t think I’ll ever get as involved with another TV show (unless it’s from the business side) the way I have with I-Man. I still enjoy watching good shows, I just don’t get involved with their show bboards, fan clubs, and other fannish activities. For one thing, I simply don’t have the time. Secondly, it really hard when the show gets cancelled.

So now I just watch shows the way a lot of other viewers do. My one and only excursion into fandom is reserved strictly for I-Man, which will always hold a special place in my heart.

  3. I hear you about that. I don’t think that there will ever be another show that I get into like I did I-Man. But I-Man to me is worth it!
But, I will be sure to watch Day Break tomorrow or try to anyway. If not, that is why I love my tivo. I will just tell it to record it so that I don’t have to worry about being there.
